Rang for a quote within two hours it had been measured and a quote given. We know the quote was fair as my husband had replaced a small unit himself. Excellent service from Ian and Yvette, very happy to recommend! They replaced two window panes - one smashed in a break-in, and the other was condensed inside due to the seal going. They also adjusted two doors that had dropped on the hinges, to allow them to close properly. Ian provided a fully professional service from start to finish, including communication. I thought the price charged was very fair for the work carried out. I am glad I chose Window Repair Experts to perform this work, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Ian offed advise on the best solution to repair our faulty windows, provided a quotation and quickly sourced the parts and completed the repair. I can highly recommend his service.

Ian and his assistant came very promptly and replaced the broken locking mechanism using spares he carries on his van. It was a tricky job - the window has an unusual locking mechanism and opens in such a way that a ladder is needed to replace it. The whole problem was sorted out within a couple of hours of my phonecall to Ian. I'm delighted.

Absolutely brilliant, first time was to measure up and give quote, told me he would be there for 9, he was, to supply and fit 2 weeks later said he would be here for 9.30 he was here for 9, they never stopped and nothing was too much trouble he even fixed the lock on the gate at no extra cost. The company arrived as previously arranged for windows to be measured up for replacement. We had requested noise reducing glass but were advised that in our circumstances this would not help - we appreciated the advice and the fact that we were not being sold something which was not going to help us. The following day we received a telephone call with a quote for the work. We accepted this and 5 days later the windows were replaced. Again, the company were punctual They continued with a friendly and efficient service. Very happy with our new windows.

Great service, it was an emergency call out as the locking mechanism was broken and the house wasn't secure, I called and he arrived within an hour, Ian is very thorough, he explained the repair and it was fixed within 20 minutes, I would highly recommend Ian and his company.

The original double glazed units which failed did so because they were fitted by builders who knew little about double glazing. Ian did additional work on the frames to ensure that the new units he put in wouldn’t go the same way. Ian came to me by way of personal recommendation and I would vouch for his work ethic and craftsmanship in any forum.

Had gaps on windows so none were shutting correctly and the frames were sitting straight at all. After adjustments have been done each window now closes how it should. Fantastic service from Ian, all the work was done to a very high standard. It’s hard to come across genuine decent workman nowadays and would highly recommend Ian for any window issues you have. Came Friday to look at job did work the following Tuesday Ian arrived on time , gave me a couple of tips about adjusting upvc doors

Had an open upvc door in the locked position , so couldn't close it. The key wasn't turning. Phoned ian and was told he would call later . Shortly afterwards he telephoned me and told me that he was on his way and arrived a few minutes later. He had a look at the lock and immediately noticed that the key wouldn't fully insert. He realised straight away that it actually was the wrong key. HIGHLY EMBARRASSING. I found the correct key and the problem was solved. He wouldn't accept any payment, for his journey or time, WHAT A GENTLEMAN.

Isn't cane to resolve a problem we caused ourselves even though the original work was done nearly 3 years ago. Amazing aftercare.

Superb workmanship from a very friendly, trustworthy, efficient and highly skilled professional, to restore a double-glazed unit which a sales rep from another company had tried to talk me into fully replacing. Mr.Cheshire is a very skilled, knowledgeable and experienced craftsman. Everest did not want to know and I could not find anyone else in my area who was able to carry out the work that I required. I was prepared to have the window in question permanently sealed but after a quick look at the window handle and locking system, he quickly identified the problem and rectified it. It is now as good as new! Mr.Cheshire is a 'Window Wizard' with a lovely sense of humour that took away the enormous stress that I was carrying over my window problem. His charge was fair and very reasonable.

We had a window fitted by a different company 10 years ago from day 1 we had several problems which was never sorted despite hundreds if calls! The leak was getting worse to the point our living room was getting flooded. Saw the good reports for Ian Cheshire so gave him a call. Ian came out, listened to what problems we was having and had a look, he told us where he thought our problems were and what would need to be done. Ian was prompt, I called him in the morning and was available to view that day. We had a new unit put in from another fitter but the fitter had problems trying to get the window back in. Ian came round, instantly confirmed the issue (wrong size unit). Gave me free advice on the new unit and also offered free advice on what I needed to do to change a lock on one of the other windows.

Phoned and Ian was able to make later the same day, He diagnosed the problem showed me the broken parts and offered to replace them for a fixed price. Quote was very reasonable and he set to work immediately. He ensured that the replacement parts fitted and worked properly and made sure everything was clean before he left. A quality job and happy to recommend him.
